New York, Huge Manhattan Skyline from the East River Picture, beautiful and informative. Print size is 18.5 in. x 75 in. Long. The portrait is as shown, one half stacked upon the other half. Drawn in full color are 6.5 miles of the New York City Skyline. Faithfully records the eastern side of the skyline as seen from Brooklyn and Queens across the East River, as the city appeared prior to September 11, 2001. It took artist John Wagner 3 years to draw the skyline. He began by taking 2,000 photographs of the city from the air and at ground level. Then he drew a faithful computer likeness of each building and placed it precisely in the panorama. More then 1,000 structures are depicted in detail; over 500 are identified with informative labels, building name, etc. This illustration includes the soaring skyscrapers of New York's Financial District and Midtown. The World Trade Center appears in this commemorative edition. This is a great quality item, a sure conversation piece and a thoughtful gift! We ship within 2 business days of order.
